EXCURSIONS ON THE NORTH COAST Day excursions from Casablanca: Mohammedia

Mohammedia is a coastal city located 30 kilometers north along the coast. During the protectorate, the port of the Zanata tribe was transformed into an industrial metropolis. Currently, it is the largest refinery in the nation.

It is a well-defined city with an abundance of vegetation and fascinating colonial structures, including the Catholic Church.

Its magnificent shoreline attracts many citizens and tourists of Casablanca in the summer, who stay in numerous villas and hotels, playing golf at the Royal Mohamedia Golf Club and large-scale fishing at its marina.

Next to Mohamedia, the Oued El Maleh provides the ideal location for a leisurely trek through the forest, close to a number of stunning cascades. Beni Yakhelf is the agricultural capital of the interior.
The Mansueire Small coastal community located 39 kilometers away, inherited the name of the historical Kasbah situated on the territory of the Municipality during the tenure of Sultan Mohamed Ibn Abdullah in the seventeenth century.

Kasbah:

The Kasbah is a historical landmark awaiting restoration. Tbourida is an annual tourist and cultural festival that includes horse competitions.

Although less urbanized, its 20 km of beaches are an extension of the coast of Mohameda. Some beaches with reefs are more dangerous for bathing, while others are spectacular for surfing. In front of the city is the estuary of the Arrimene River, while Daya Beach and Morjana are located further away. Following the south is Palm Beach. They are surrounded by a magnificent forest that is perfect for ecotourism, equestrian riding, and hunting.

Bouznika:

Because of its magnificent beaches, this is one of the most prestigious seaside resorts along the Atlantic coast. To draw attention to Bouznika Bay, a well-known leisure resort with magnificent facilities, a golf course, and a vibrant nightlife.

Casablanca day trips: EXCURSIONS OF THE COSTA COSTA SUR Dar Bouazza:

A seashore on the suburbs of Casablanca with a 70,000-square-meter aquatic park.

Sidi Rahal:

Under construction: a new coastal resort. No urbanized coastlines exist until Azemmour. Although it is worthwhile to halt at the marabout of Lala Aicha Baharia at the entrance of the Oum er Rba River.

Azemmour:

The coastal city of Dukala, close to the estuary of the river Oum er Rba. Presently, it is a small agricultural and commercial city with limited urbanization that attracts tourists due to its history and proximity to beaches.

The Portuguese Medina merits a visit, so it is encircled by sturdy fortifications and armed with massive bastions. There are magnificent views of the city and adjacent river from this location. It is a cultural and historical destination of interest to those who visit Casablanca or El Jadida, with its narrow avenues ornamented with flora and white houses.

The seashore tourism industry is thriving. Among the beaches, Haouzia stands out for its expansiveness and fine sand. ideal for Surfing and Kitesurfing practice. Thus, it has some quality lodgings, with the four-star Riad in the medina standing out. And in the vicinity, the opulent beach and 4-star golf resort Pullman Mazagan Royal Golf & Spa stand out.

To reach the provincial capital, take the Ben Slimane road through the agricultural centers of Sidi Hajjaj and Souk Jemaa de Fedalate.

Ben Slimane. Inland city and province situated between Casablanca and Rabat. There are 200,000 residents. With a remarkable microclimate. It is encircled by vegetation, oak and pine forests. A vacation destination for the residents of adjacent major communities. It has a large golf club and horseback riding, and you can choose to go karting in the village of Go Kart or hunting in the cork oak forest of Ziadas. The Gara river. Departing from El Hajjaj, we discover this village in the governorate of Berrechid, a pastoral community from which you can access the ecologically significant El Khaoutat mountain range.

OPTION 2:

On route to Marrakech. At 14 kilometers, we discover the forest of Bouzkura, the verdant lung of the city’s interior. There is a golf course. Mediouna, 19 km. Provincial capital of Greater Casablanca, agricultural and livestock center with a plethora of industries, including carpet-making craftsmanship. Nouaceur, 20 km.
