FIRST DAY: Arrival at the Marrakech Airport

Our chauffeur will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in the Medina of Marrakech to begin our Top 7-day trip from Marrakech. overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH – DADES VALLEY

The second day of our week in Marrakech will be spent in the desert, away from the bustling cities. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the T’ichka pass and having an hour to explore Morocco’s most famous Kasbah. Ait Ben Haddou is a Unesco world heritage site that has been recognized since 1986. Many films, including Game of Thrones, Alexander, and Gladiator, have been filmed there. Then proceed to the Dades Gorges, passing through the rose valley and the pink town, where many stores and vehicles are painted pink.

DAY 3: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – Sahara Desert

Due to the ancient Berber-Jewish structures and cemeteries, Tinghir is known as the former Jewish capital and is one hour from Dades Valley. From Tinghir, we’ll travel through the Todra Valley, which offers beautiful panoramic views, until we reach the finest canyon in Morocco, where we’ll take a brief stroll and take plenty of photographs. From Tinjdad, we will travel to the desert of Merzouga via the City of Fossils, where we will stop for a guided tour of a local fossil foundry before reaching our destination. A night in a hotel by the dunes in the desert.

DAY Four: MERZOUGA DESERT JOURNEY OFF-ROAD AROUND MERZOUGA – DESERT NIGHT CAMEL TREK

Today is the highlight of our seven-day excursion from Marrakech. Beginning the day with an off-road tour to a nomadic family residing in a woollen yurt in the middle of nowhere for tea. Next, travel to the village of Khamlia, renowned for its Gnawa music and rituals performed by locals with a dark complexion. With a local desert pizza for lunch, we will embark on the most exciting excursion of the week in Marrakesh. You will begin your camel excursion by traversing the dunes and pausing to watch the sunset in the midst of nowhere. Later, you will continue to the camp, where you will spend an unforgettable night under the stars playing percussion with the residents and resting in a tent in the desert.

DAY 5: Sahara desert -Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

The enchanting landscape of an arid sunrise merits rising as early as possible to capture it on camera. Drive to Rissani, renowned for its authentic souk of products and animals such as donkeys, lambs, and goats, after brunch at the camp. From Rissani, we will travel via Alnif and Tazarine to the longest valley in Morocco, the Draa Valley. After crossing the anti-Atlas via the Ait Saoun Pass in the afternoon, we will arrive in Ouarzazate. Overnight at the hotel or riad.

DAY 6: Ouarzazate –  Explore Marrakech

Lovely trip around the highlights of Morocco in a relatively short time made possible by Said even though we encountered challenging weather. We were driven around the country by the fantastic Youssef who took great care of us everywhere we went. Even though we had a setback because of the weather, everything went very smooth and we could still relax because everything was well coordinated and taken care of by Said and Youssef.
In 5 days we visited Marrakech, Ait Benhaddou, Todra Gorge, Merzouga desert, Fes and Chefchauen amongst several other stops where we could truly experience the local Moroccan and Berber culture.
The highlight of the trip was certainly the night spent in the luxury camp in the desert where we were hosted by Mohammed who is a great example of Moroccan hospitality. The luxury camp is indeed amazing and surprisingly comfortable! Well done guys and keep up your good work. A big thank you to Youssef for the very long distance driving and for managing the itinerary in such a short timeframe. If I will come back to Morocco, I will certainly contact Said for another unforgettable experience.

To anyone coming to Morocco, I can only recommend doing this tour with Addi. We booked a 7 day trip to the desert and back to Marrakech. As we were planing on going to the rural areas and villages we were glad to have a local guide who knows the best spots and can inform us about the Moroccan traditions.
Addi is the best guide any touist can ask for. He is extremly helpful, warm hearted, organized and was always willing to tell us his personal experiences. This made the tour an absolute highlight. The hotels were all super and the camping in the desert was a memory we will never forget.
Morocco has definitely stolen our hearts!!!

Merzouga Sahara (spent 2 incredible days in a luxury camp), we did sand boarding, 4×4 safari, visited Nomad family, went twice on the camel on the dessert dunes, saw the sunrise and sunset in the desert, had fantastic dinner at the camp and after live Berber music and dancing around camp fire

We 3 girls from Italy traveled to Morocco for 5 days (from Marrakech to the desert and all the way to Fes.
The experience was OUTSTANDING, we visited many sites of interest; starting from the Atlas Mountain and Ait Ben Haddou kasbah , Hollywood, Africa then to the Sahara desert where we experienced the camel ride to the camp through big dunes enjoying the sunset, and sunrise.
Our driver, Addi (he is the best!!) was really knowledgeable, he also have been supersympathetic and kind, he explained everything about their country and Berbers, my thanks to you Addi for the best experience you gave us and what you shared with us, it was great. You made us feel like ‘home away from home’ you made us feel so safe, you took care of us like our own. Thank you so much!!

If you are in dilemma between group tour and private tour, we will strongly recommend the private tour because you can tailor it the way you want to.. number of stops, duration, and get a personalized experience.

I recommend everyone to do this tour with this company, they are the BEST! & ask for Addi as your driver/ guide, you will have an experience you will remember forever!

Ali and Addi were amazing! My best friend and I decided (on a whim) to take a trip to Morocco and visit Marrakech and Casablanca. Even before the trip, Days Morocco Tours were extremely responsive and catered to our every desire in preparation! Even during the trip they made sure we were seeing everything we had planned on! Their attention to detail was impeccable, and we felt safe and supported while we were with them. They provided great insight into Berber and Moroccan culture the entire time. We felt like we got the most out of our short trip with a visit to the Atlas Mountains and overnight stay, camel riding, a visit to a Berber home, cooking class, a special tour through the Marrakech markets, trip to Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Rick’s Cafe, etc. (all in 3 days!) it was absolutely amazing, and we can’t wait to return!!
