💰 Tips for a Smart and Memorable Budget Holiday in Morocco

If you’re planning an 8-days itinerary from Rabat and want to keep things affordable while still experiencing Morocco at its best, consider the following:

  • Travel Off-Season: Morocco is beautiful year-round, but visiting between November and March often means lower prices and fewer crowds.

  • Stick to Riads: Traditional Moroccan guesthouses offer a more intimate and cost-effective experience than large hotels.

  • Share Excursions: Many day trips (like the one to Imlil) can be arranged as small group tours to reduce costs.

  • Eat Like a Local: Dine in medina cafés, not tourist spots. A tajine or couscous dish can cost under $5 and be ten times tastier.

Your budget holiday in Morocco doesn’t mean you have to compromise on comfort or experience—it just means you’re traveling smart.

Ali and Addi were amazing! My best friend and I decided (on a whim) to take a trip to Morocco and visit Marrakech and Casablanca. Even before the trip, Days Morocco Tours were extremely responsive and catered to our every desire in preparation! Even during the trip they made sure we were seeing everything we had planned on! Their attention to detail was impeccable, and we felt safe and supported while we were with them. They provided great insight into Berber and Moroccan culture the entire time. We felt like we got the most out of our short trip with a visit to the Atlas Mountains and overnight stay, camel riding, a visit to a Berber home, cooking class, a special tour through the Marrakech markets, trip to Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Rick’s Cafe, etc. (all in 3 days!) it was absolutely amazing, and we can’t wait to return!! Great value, great service, unforgettable experience. HIGHLY recommend.
