We did a 12 day trip with Days Morocco Tours, starting by a smile of our guide Moha who was a funny knowledgeable guy explaining all the Moroccan history, culture, monuments, food mixed with fun jokes and a lot of Berber stories, he also told as to stop where ever we want and ask questions, he showed us the most important places to see in the 12-day trip crossing mountains and valleys, with many stops for pictures of the Berber villages.
then get to the Sahara desert for the camel ride and spend the night at the camp, where we met Ali who greeted us with a cup of tea. we had a delicious Berber Tagine. We also enjoyed stars in a very vast sky I’ve ever seen, we also see shooting stars and gazing into the Milky Way.

We did a 12-day/11-night trip to the Fes Marrakech and desert near Merzouga with Addi as our guide. It was an amazing highlight of our month in Morocco. We covered magnificent terrain but also had such uniquely personalized experiences.
Addi’s story has deep roots in the Nomad culture. Yet he easily crosses over to connect with his guests as he talks about his life’s path. He has become well-educated, and he can tell clients so much about Berber history.
Beyond the itinerary, the “tour” was flexible for our interests … like stopping at a wonderful little museum in the middle of “nowhere”; a meal in the family home of our driver; celebrating my husband’s birthday in the desert camp (great cake and exciting live music performance). Then, we accidentally left our walking sticks in the car after the trip. One day later, Addi came to the house where we were staying to deliver them back to us.
