Extra special service on the desert
“We did a 10-day/9-night trip to the Atlas Mountains and desert near Merzouga with Ali as our guide. It was an amazing highlight of our month in Morocco. We covered magnificent terrain but also had such uniquely personalized experiences.

Ali’s story has deep roots in the Nomad culture. Yet he easily crosses over to connect with his guests as he talks about his life’s path. He has become well-educated, and he can tell clients so much about Berber history.

Beyond the itinerary, the “tour” was flexible for our interests … like stopping at a wonderful little museum in the middle of “nowhere”; a meal in the family home of our driver; celebrating my husband’s birthday in the desert camp (great cake and exciting live music performance). Then, we accidently left our walking sticks in the car after the trip. Three days later, Ali came to the house where we were staying to deliver them back to us.

Ali is an unusually dedicated guide. We highly recommend him and the services he goes out of his way to provide.”
