Tour Details

Activities in Marrakesh

If you have a leisurely day in Marrakech and don’t know what to do, here are some suggestions. If you are searching for activities in Marrakech, Days Morocco Tours provides the city’s most recommended day excursions.

Imlil,  camel excursion, mule ride, brunch in a Berber home,  quad cycle.

If you are searching for the pinnacle of Marrakech’s activities, schedule this day excursion immediately. This most active day in Imlil will begin with a pickup from your hotel and a journey through the high Atlas Mountains, with numerous pauses for photos, activities, and panoramic views of Berber villages. The first halt will be in a small village to visit a traditional Berber home and have the second breakfast with a cup of peppermint tea prepared by an elderly Berber woman. Afterwards, we will pause for a camel trek en route to Imlil. After that, we will drive directly to a mules ride to visit a waterfall before having a Moroccan lunch in a Berber house next to the highest mountain in North Africa and the second highest in Africa, called Toubkal 4167m, then ride our mules back to Imlil where we will meet up with our driver and drive toward Lala Takrkoust for quad biking, and then drive back to your accommodation in the red city of Marrakech and arrive around sunset. If you are unfamiliar with what to do in Marrakech, the Imlil Day Trip is the most recommended excursion.

Essaouira  Day excursion

Essaouira day trip is the ideal thing to do in Marrakech if you are looking for a tranquil coastal city. Also known as the “pearl of the Atlantic,” Essaouira is one of the most beautiful cities along the Moroccan Atlantic coast, and day trips to this city are common from Marrakech. Due to the fact that The Medina of Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage site and combines modern culture and history with restaurants and cafes. Depending on the historic old fortifications that make it worth more than a visit, there are new cafés and restaurants serving local cuisine and fresh seafood. Due to its large sand beach, Essaouira offers a variety of activities, such as camel rides, horseback riding, and quad biking. It is amazing to spend a few days in Marrakech, but it is even more amazing if you have the chance to visit the rampart of Mogador (Essaouira), one of the most recommended cities in Morocco for enjoying the weather of the coast.

A large and well-organized walkway,. This is an ideal opportunity to visit the fortifications of Essaouira, spend the day outside of the city, and experience the pleasant weather of the coast in one of the most recommended cities in Morocco throughout the entire year.

Ourika excursion from Marrakech

If you want to experience the pinnacle of Marrakech’s activities, don’t hesitate to schedule this day excursion. We discovered the green valley of Ourika, one of the most popular day trips from Marrakech, just one hour away. In the valley is the towering mountain of Toubkal (4,167 m) and a breathtaking panorama of the peaks and valleys of the High Atlas. The entire region is dotted with concealed deep valleys, ancient villages, and mountain rivers where we can observe the lives of locals.

Due to snowmelt in the winter, the valley reaches its zenith between February and April, when cherry trees bloom and almonds rush down mountain rivers in torrents. Skiing in the vicinity of the Oukameden station (2,650 meters) is a great way to spend a pleasant summer day in the countryside.

we will bring you up Morning departure from the agreed-upon location to abandon the Ourika Valley. Which is only one hour from Marrakech’s city center. At the base of the ski station Oukaimden, the Ourika Valley rises gradually to the highlands of the High Atlas, where tiny, typical communities are tucked away. It is a pristine and majestic place where the serenity is “only disturbed” by birdsong, streams, and washerwomen. Ourika is renowned for its ceramics and crystalline minerals. North Africa’s most spectacular cascade is Ouzoud

The Ouzoud cascades are 160 kilometres away from Marrakech. You will experience a day beneath 60-meter-tall cascades with varying heights of water. If you are in the vicinity of Marrakech and enjoy nature, you should not miss the chance to visit these cascades, which are the largest and most spectacular in North Africa.

Details of the excursion to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech

The cascades of Ouzud, 160 km from Marrakech, are where we will collect you in the morning at the agreed-upon location. Enjoy a day beneath the stunning cascades, whose slopes are as high as 50 meters. The magnificent cascades are a result of the rainfall throughout the year. Visit the traditional water mills by noon. And at lunch, while seated on a terrace with a view of the cascades, we enjoy delicious traditional Moroccan cuisine. After a peaceful and unique day, we return to the city of Marrakech in the afternoon.

Ouarzazate, Kasbah of Telouet Ait Ben Haddou kasbah

A one-day round journey from Marrakech to Ouarzazate is one of the finest Marrakech activities. As you ascend Tichka Tiz’n into the Atlas Mountains, take in the magnificent scenery and exquisite Kasbahs or fortifications that surmount the pass of Tichka on your way to the “Lord of the Atlas” palace. Also visit the well-known Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s largest and best-preserved. This Kasbah has been designated a world heritage site, and it has been featured in several films, including “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Babel.” After touring the town and its environs, return to Marrakech at sunset. Details:

At 07:00 h, our local guide will pick us up from the hotel and drive us to Ouarzazate in a 4×4 vehicle, travelling through Tiz’ntichka pass (or Port Tichka), the highest road in Morocco, where we will experience magnificent scenery. After crossing the Tichka Pass, we enter the Atlas Mountains to visit the famous Kasbah of Telouet and Kasbah of Glaoui, the former palace of the mythical El Hadj Thami el Glaoui The Mezouari, also known as the “Lord of the Atlas.” After the visit, we will continue through one of the most beautiful and unknown Moroccan routes that will take us through the massif of the Atlas and its spectacular scenery, to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the largest and best-preserved Kasbahs in Morocco, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for multiple Oscar-winning films such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “El Cielo Protector”, and “Babel”. Julie B

Couple Traveller

Last week I joined a day private trip with Addi. My friends and I organized this trip in advance which was very easy.
After staying in touristy and busy Marrakech for 3 days, we were looking for a more cultural, more authentic experience of Morocco. And we definitely made the right choice by booking a tour with Addi. Within one day we got to see a lot of Moroccos different landscapes from Atlas Mountains to endless roads leading us to the stunning agafay desert of Marrakech .
We made spontaneous and individual stops for taking photos, eating a lot of couscous and tajine or just enjoying the view with amazing and funny activities riding ATVs, camels, mules…
