If you’re going to do a desert tour in Morocco, you NEED to do it with Ali. Don’t waste your time with any other company!
My boyfriend and I booked a 6 day desert tour starting in Fes and ending in Marrakech. We crossed the Atlas Mountains, slept in the Merzouga Sahara Desert, rode camels, and truly had the experience of a lifetime!
We met ALi at our Riad in Marrakech, he made us feel very comfortable and encouraged us to ask any questions we wanted. He took us to the most amazing places, and what I really liked was that I feel as though we saw the real Morocco, not the cookie cutter tourist version.
We opted to do a private tour for this very reason. We wanted to be able to go to places and do things that bigger tour companies don’t do. For example, we were driving past a beautiful scenery and at our request, Addi pulled over to the side of the road where we were able to take in the scenery & snap a couple pictures!
Our favourite experience was the camel trek to our desert camp where we spent the night. The desert camp was beautiful, clean and they really went over and above for us.
Throughout our 6 day tour, we formed a friendship with Ali. This was definitely the highlight of our 2 week trip in Morocco!
