3 Days Outing from Marrakech

This three-day outing from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara Desert is the optimal way to experience the Sahara desert, beginning in Marrakech and concluding in Fes.

3 Days Outing from Marrakech

First Day: Marrakech City– Kasbah Dait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Our 3 Days Outing from Marrakech to Fes by Way of the Sahara Desert Will proceed through the intimidating Tichka pass (2260m). On the serpentine Atlas road through Berber villages, one can admire the landscape after traversing the majestic High Atlas Mountains. After that, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a significant Moroccan structure. The Kasbah was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, making it an attractive location for international filmmakers. Over thirty internationally renowned films (such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and The Mummy) are filmed here.

After touring the Kasbah, we will traverse the rose valley, where the second-oldest Moroccan festival is held. In Morocco, the Rose Festival begins in the first week of May immediately after the harvest. Then proceed to the Dades Valley destination. Spend the night in the hotel.

Second Day: Dades – Todra ravine – Merzouga dunes: Camel excursion and night under the stars in a private yurt

Today is the centrepiece of your three-day excursion from Marrakech to Fez via the Sahara Desert. It will begin with a brief stroll through the Great Canyon of Morocco. Then navigate to the Qanats or the ancient desert waterways in Jorff near the Ziz valley. After that, we’ll transport you to the Merzouga desert, where you’ll embark on the most popular excursion in Morocco, riding camels across the dunes of the Sahara desert to the camp, where you’ll enjoy a colourful sunset between the dunes, before sandboarding and having an unforgettable and enjoyable time. Under a stellar night sky, enjoy a distinct local dish for dinner while listening to Sahara desert music around a campfire with locals.

Third-Day: Merzouga Dunes, Ziz Valley, Morocco’s Largest Forest, and the Cultural City of Fes

Set an alarm to wake up as early as feasible to witness the magnificent arid sunrise. After consuming breakfast and taking a shower, we will drive to Fes via the awe-inspiring Ziz Valley of palm trees and the awe-inspiring Atlas Mountains of Morocco. (with its captivating hues, panoramic vistas, and large ruminants ascending with their grazer alongside the road). After that, we will reach one of the vast cedar forests of Morocco. Only found in Africa and Asia, this species of monkey-like primate has no tail and enjoys playing and eating. We will then arrive in Fes and ensure that you are dropped off at your hotel. And this concludes your 3 Days Outing from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara Desert, as well as our services.

An unforgettable trip!

Group Traveller

Last week I joined a 3 day private desert tour with Addi. My friends and I organized this trip in advance which was very easy.
After staying in touristy and busy Marrakech for 3 days, we were looking for a more cultural, more authentic experience of Morocco. And we definitely made the right choice by booking a tour with Addi. Within the 3 days we got to see a lot of Moroccos different landscapes from Atlas Mountains to endless roads leading us to the stunning desert of Merzouga. Lying under the stars and watching the sunrise in the desert is a must when visiting Morocco.
We made spontaneous and individual stops for taking photos, eating a lot of couscous and tajine or just enjoying the view.
Addi was a great guide and explained a lot about Berber culture and nomadic lifestyle. We really enjoyed his company and had much fun together by playing games and singing around our camp fire in the evening. Additionally our accommodations were also really comfortable and well-picked. Everyone was very nice and we always felt welcomed.

I can definitely recommend booking with Addi!
Thank you for our unforgettable Trip:)
